Hi Jessica, We live in Va and our HSBC second mortgage is about to be charged off there saying we will have to turn it in on taxes. does this mean we will have to pay in alot of money?

Hi Guest! Welcome to forums! I guess you were unable to pay off the second mortgage payments. As a result, the lender is charging off the second mortgage and assigning it to a collection agency. The collection agency can contact you for the payments and you will be liable for paying them even the late charges.
