Hi Joshua, I am a renter living in an apt that is going up for auction due

Hi Joshua, I am a renter living in an apt that is going up for auction due to foreclosure. The foreclosure notice said I had 60 days from the time of the sale to move out. The mgmt company renting me the apt told me I wouldn't have to pay rent for the coming month. The mgmt company now tells me that the apt wasn't sold at auction and I owe them rent now. If the apt is no longer owned by the owner and has been foreclosed by the bank, does the mgmt company have the right to charge me rent?

If it wasn't sold, the original owner still owns the property.
