Hi faisal, i am behind almost two years investing with a broker that at the end gave up! Brokers are the ones that said that i would never qualify for a loan modification until i stopped paying??? how i regeret it! but i have signed up with NACA for there visit in L.A. this month (Jan. 20-30th 2011) i filed for BK to stop the sale of my home but i have obtained letter from the attorney...any hope for me? do you think i have a chance?

Hi Guest! Welcome to forums! As you've filed a bankruptcy, you may be able to get a loan modification after your bankruptcy filing gets discharged. However, your broker was correct in saying that you won't qualify for loan modification unless you default on your mortgage payments. Feel free to ask if you've further queries. Sussane
