My husband got 60 acres from his brother on a quick claim deed. My husband wants to sell the property which is agricultural land, there is no building on the property and it is not been farmed. If he sells property for a million how much capital gain does he have to pay? My husband is 65 years old. Property is in SC.

Hi Guest! Welcome to forums! The capital gains taxes will depend upon the amount of profit you receive from the sale of the property. Your husband should contact a tax advisor and take his opinion in this matter. He will guide your husband. Feel free to ask if you've further queries. Sussane
