My husbands credit is around 540, my credit is around 645. Is there a way for us to get a mortgage?
We have a house we like. It is about 120,000 with motivated sellers, so we are hoping to get it cheaper. He has a credit score of about 540, but we are trying to get his debt paid off in the next few months and my credit score is a 645.

If you can qualify on your own you may be able to - you cant use his income until his scores are up
Whats holding them down? is it something that can be repaired quickly?
If he gets up to 600 with his mid score there may be a chance
