If I settle with Wells Fargo on a FHA Loan, can FHA still sue me?

I have an FHA loan on a house that I've been forced to abandon. I went through loan modification and then the short sale process...to no avail. I am looking at "settling" with the attorneys for a Wells Fargo stipulating that Wells Fargo will NOT seek a deficiency judgment. But...can FHA still sue for the deficiency? the house will never bring as much as they say I owe at auction.

You can go ahead with the deal with Wells Fargo but you should get all the terms and conditions of the settlement in written and signed by their concerned officials.
