I am paying the payment on a mobile home that I no longer want. The mobile home is not in my name, I just make the payments. I've had it for 3 years now and I want it gone. I live in alabama, how long legally, do they have to come and pick the mobile home up? It's on my family land and they want it gone. Also, do I have to pay anything during this process of reps/foreclosure?
Also someone told me that if they don't have the mobile home moved within a year of the foreclosure date, the mobile home belongs to the land/property owner...is this true?

Hi Tikka,
You will have to clear off the mortgage dues first and then take away the mobile home from your family lot. If you let the lender foreclose the property, then you won't have to pay the mortgage dues. If the lender receives the payment on time, then he won't foreclose the property.
Thanks
