what is the rule in alaska on how many people you can claim in your hosehold when filing a chapter 7 bankruptcy. we have two children one is 2o and in college and the other is 19 and just started working after graduating from high school. they both still live at home and we are providing there living expences, housing, food, ect. can we still count them as members of household without counting there income?
Welcome urnana,
As your children are staying with you in the property, in my opinion, you will be able to consider them as members of your household. Your attorney will be the best person to let you know whether or not you will have to consider their income while filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
