if i purchase a property at an auction, do i inherit second liens in alaska if there are any?...second liens in alaska
Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
If the original owner of the property had not paid off the liens, then you will definitely inherit it when you purchase it. Buyers are always advised to go for a title search which will help them to know if the property has any kind of liens. If there are liens on the property, as a buyer, you should always sign an agreement with the original owner so that he/she will pays off the lien immediately. If the original owner is not ready to clear off the lien, it is better not to buy the property.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
