If there is no one else in line, then the grandchildren would then be next inline of inheritance.
Hi sanderson,
Absolutely... I agree with what Chris has said. If there are no other heirs to the property, then, the children of a deceased child will be considered as the heirs to their grandparents' property.
Thanks

That sounds great, but do the grandparents have a will? Is there someone handling the estate when the grandparents pass? I believe these questions need to be addressed before assuming that the grandchild would be the natural heir.
When someone dies intestate (without a will), there is typically a lot of difficulty for any surviving family, since state laws require a specific disposition.

does any heirs have the right to seal timper from heirs proptery with the consent of the other living heirs?.
Welcome wess,
If all the heirs give their consent, then one of them can sell timber from that property. I don't think it will be a problem.

My guess, Wess, is that it depends on the attitude of all of the heirs. Is there anyone opposed to the sale of the timber?
