My father passed and owned some land. Everything has gone through probate and we have the right to sell the land. Do we have to use attorneys to simply sell an acre of land?
You do not need an attorney or title or an escrow to sell your OWN land. If you are selling anothers land, then you need a real estate license. You would use the attorney or title service, to protect your sale, your proceeds and the title to the property. It also protects the buyer. Contact a local escrow company to get their fees and services they offer.
