I have a mobile home on land in Texas that the mortgage company has sent me a foreclosure notice for not having property taxes fully paid. Payment arrangements have been made with the appraisal district and the mortgage company has been told about payment arrangements. Can they continue to foreclose on the property?
If the payments are not up to date by the time the sale is posted, then they can. It depends on what is in your loan documents as well. Normally, the state will take properties that are delinquent on taxes, not the mortgage company.
