My ex (we were never married) & I have 2 pieces of property that are in both our names. When we split he stayed at one and I move to the other. He is now having trouble making his payment. Has pretty much told me that he wasn't going to. He was going to let it go back and he was planning on suing me for half of the property I reside at. what are my rights and Is there anything i can do about this situation??

from the state of Georgia.
Hi abaker,

If the other property is solely in your name, then I don't think your ex will be able to sue you for the half of the property. Nevertheless, you should contact an attorney and take his help in this matter. He will guide you what actions you need to take in this regard and will let you know what actions you should take to stop your ex.

Thanks
