Hi Jessica,
I just purchased a proprety from the auction, the association is the one that foreclosed on the proprety.
The sale was done ,all parties receievd proper notices and after 2-weeks waiting period i receievd the titla from the courts with a copy of distribution of funds.
The owner of the property still occupying it and I just placed on his door a 3-day eviction notice after sending him a registered letter with the option to stay as a renter.
He ignored me and now ,when i served him with the eviction notice he puts me on the phone with his lawyer, and this one told me that he is filling"motion to vacate the sale".Is that possible to do after the sale is done the courts did give them 2-weeks to appeal and they never did,and the courts distributed all the monies and i got the title.
Thank you very much
Liz

Hi lizsharon,
As you have followed the legal process in order to ask the owner of the property to leave the property, though they file the motion to vacate the sale, they won't be successful. You should contact a real estate attorney and take his/her help and assistance in this matter.
Thanks
