Greetings from MF Team!
Off late, it has been observed that some community members are posting fake or not so relevant replies to the queries in order to earn some extra dollar. To curb this situation, it has been decided and notified here that no dollar will be rewarded to users who make postings from non - US IP effective from 7th April, 2011.
However, a few exceptions will be there for the users who are genuine and make to the point reply for queries. The posts of such users will be reviewed and exception will be granted to those users.

Sam, it's always tempting to post simply for the additional sum of money, so it's understandable (a little) that there are those with nothing to say but willing to add their names to a topic will do so.
I think you're making a sensible decision here, to try to discourage those with nothing to say and encourage those who genuinely have worthwhile things to say.
