HUD is fighting to eliminate the down payment assistance programs. We all can take action if we want to HUD take notice and preserve DPA. This website will allow you to voice your support and we only have 1 month:

A worthy cause there Brian. I just sent an email myself to help this noble cause. Heck I wish I was more aware of these kinds of programs myself when I purchased my first home six years ago. My wife and I struggled to get a home loan because we didn't have a lot to put down at the time.
