Would someone direct to who I can contact about becoming and approved appraiser? If it is another entity other than Mortgagefit could I get the company and/or contact name?
I would greatly appreciate your time and effort in this matter.

Hi Alicia,
As far as I know, you need to contact your state's licensing board in order to know more about becoming an approved appraiser. States have their own requirements for getting a real estate appraisal license. However, they must meet the minimum standards which are set by the Appraisal Institute which is the national certifying board for real estate appraisers.
