How long does an FHA appraisal takes place?
Hi Kathy,

As far as I know, it will take around 3 business days to complete the FHA appraisal. Nevertheless, you can speak to your FHA lender and he will better assist you in this regard.

Take care

3 to 10 days, depending on how busy the Appraiser is. 24 hours after inspection if a rush is requested, and they have available resources.

I have a good question for you realitors, i am selling my home FSBO and the buyer has a broker, the home appraisal was done and they moved forward with the inspection, closing date is in 9 days but now the broker is telling me the home will not appraise unless two things are repaired in the home, what is he talking about? the appraisal was completed and the inspection was already done, now he's telling me the home appraisal is contingent on to me? i did not sign any appraisal contingency, i feel that this broker is trying to get me to do extra work for his client, i also have no documentation from the lender that these repairs need to be made for the home to appraise, i am located in greenville, sc, thanks.
