i bought a home recently in Toronto but when i go for appraisal, i came to know that same house is already in the possession of another one, and he has already get appraisal against this property. tell me how i recover my money from that broker?
Hi alvinajohn,
I guess you have been scammed by your broker. In such a situation, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter. He will guide to and let you know what actions you need to take in this regard.
Thanks

i am also thinking to take legal action!
Hi alvinajohn!
Welcome to forums!
You can definitely take a legal action against the broker if you feel that you have been scammed by him. You can contact a Toronto based lawyer in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

today i met with lawyer, he told me that in taking legal step i have to expend 3k to 4k as legal fee is not free for the foreigners. when i bought that apartment i paid half of the amount that was agreed and that was 5500 pounds, for rest of the amount i went to appraise where hidden reality disclosed. do you think it would be rational to expend more money? i think it would be better if i broke the panes of his office and socially disgrace him!
