Should the lender wait till the home inspection is complete and they order a home appraisal? My lender ordered an appraisal before the inspection of complete. There are various issues in the property which I don't think the seller will fix. In that case, my appraisal amount will go in vain!

You will have to check out the contract in order to know what clause is mentioned in it regarding appraisal. If it states that you will have to pay for the appraisal whether or not the deal is successful, then you cannot help it.

If the home inspection more or less goes well, then the lender can apply for home appraisal before the home inspection is complete.
