my boyfriend and i bought a house together in az. it was a short-sale and we paid in cash. for the convinience and speed, i'm the only one on the title now. we are getting a mortgage on the property with both of our names on the mortgage. how do i add his name on the title? would quit claim deed consider to be a sale at the price of the mortgage or these two are not related events?

You can sign a quit claim deed and add your boyfriend's name to the property deed. This can be done at the time of the closing of the mortgage. Signing a quit claim deed won't be considered as a sale at the price of the mortgage.
