CAN A LENDER PUT A LIEN ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS
AFTER A SHORT SALE OF YOUR HOME
I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA ALL OF MY BANK ACCOUNTS
ARE IN CALIFORNIA THE SHORT SALE IS IN ARIZONA
Hi mtlandshark,

As the property was short sold in Arizona, the lender cannot garnish your savings account in California. However, if the lender gets a judgment from the California court regarding garnishment of account, then he can go ahead with it.

Thanks
