If my property is in AZ and I do a DIL or short sale can the bank go after any of my assets in AK?...This is not a primary residence and I do own my primary in AK. I was told the bank can not go after my primary home or assets in AK from AZ, is this correct??
Hi ccarlsonak,
As far as I know, if your property is foreclosed in Arizona, the lender will not come after your property in Alaska. In case if the lender wishes to go after your assets in Alaska, he will have to file a lawsuit.
Thanks
