I recently remarried and I have a mortgage on my home. The home will stay in my name only (his will stay in his name only). I have informed my mortgage company of the name change and I wondered if it is necesssary to change my name on the Title of my property? I was told to do it, and I have no idea how to word the Quitclaim Deed. I live in the state of Arkansas.
Hi Cindy,
You can find sample quitclaim deed forms of Arkansas online or else you can get in touch with a real estate attorney and take his help in drafting the deed.

Hi Cindy!
Welcome to the forums!
Yes, it is better to change the name on the property deed as well. You should get in touch with a real estate attorney and he will help you with the whole process.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
