does a quit claim deed in arkansas still require two witnesses as of april 2007?
if a quit claim gives joint tenancy to another person - will the mortgage that secured the loan stay attached to the property?

Hi timbo!

It will be better if you could contact a real estate attorney and ask him to go through a deed. If there is any discrepancies, he will let you know.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

My mother is in her 80's and she wants to have her home and farm changed out of her name and into mine. What are the laws in Arkansas regarding this. She is worried about something happening to it should she have to go into a nursing home.
Your mother can sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you. This will make you the owner of the property.
