I just got my ARM modified to the original rate that it was when I got the loan. My credit is really bad. I plan to pay my bills on time and repair my credit. How long until I am deemed worthy?
Hi Khsel,
Welcome to the forums.
It is good that you could get a loan modification at the original rate. try to make payments in time and don't miss any payment. It will help you improve your credit. Now as you said, you wish to pay some bills. So, can you tell me what bills exactly you have? and how long is it before you should get rid of them? only then it willl be easier to suggest an option.
Are there credit cards or medical bills? and what is your credit score currently?

Hi Khsel,
Welcome to the forum.
I am really happy to see here someone who is trying hard to improve his credit score. You are going on the right direction. If you can pay your bills on time you are going to improve your credit sooner than later,
It is really tough to predict how long you will take to improve your credit as we do not know your situation but if you have not gone through foreclosure, Bankruptcy or DIL, then I think within six months you can repair your credit.
Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
Best of luck,
Larry
