Hi there… I had a Citibank account which is showing past due and charged off despite being included in BK7 around four years ago. Loan was not reaffirmed. Doesn't this creditor have to show "part of BK"?
Hi Wilomina,
The creditor should update the account as "included in bankruptcy filing". You should contact your credit bureau and dispute the item. May be it will help you in getting the correct status updated on your credit report.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Wilomina,
You can even contact the creditor and provide him with the related documents which states that the account has been included and discharged in the bankruptcy filing. After you do so, the creditor may update the status of the account.
