I filed bankruptcy 6 years ago and my home was included in the discharged debt. At this time I am leaving my home and am willing to sign a quitclaim deed for the mortgage company. Am I at any other risk?
While I was in the home, I put in a hot tub (outside hot tub) and would like to take it with me. May I do so? Know I live in Minnesota.
Thank you!

Hi Guest,
You can surrender the property to the mortgage lender. He will sell it off in order to recover his dues. However, he won't be able to come after you in order to recover the balance amount. You can take the hot tub that you had installed in your home.
Thanks
