I am behind on my mortgage payments and have included my home in the bankrupcy but I want to keep it. Will the mortgage company help or do I need to talk to the attorney? The mortgage company will never get the amount owed as the house is overvalued and in a depressed area.

You will be able to keep your property though you file bankruptcy. If you've filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy, you will get a repayment plan from your creditors/lenders and you'll have to pay off the loan as per that plan. If you've filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, then you can reaffirm the debts and pay off the loan and save the property.
