I claimed bankruptcy and included two BOA accounts which were discharged. However, to my utter surprise, Transunion reported the accounts as verified. I contacted BOA and they told me that the accounts were charged off and sent to two collection agencies and I included these two collection agencies in my bankruptcy proceedings as well. Now the CA's are not listed on my credit report. Is the information as reported by BOA accurate? Which company should be listed on my credit report?
If the accounts were discharged in your bankruptcy filing, then it shouldn't be reported to your credit reports any further. The information reported by BOA will not be considered as accurate. You should contact your bankruptcy attorney and ask him to deal with this situation.
Hi Bonnyy,
I agree with what Niicss has said!! If the accounts have been discharged in your bankruptcy, then neither the CA nor the BOA will be able to report it to your credit bureaus.
Thanks
