My ex-husband filed a chapter 13 case which involves back child support and spousal support awarded. The case was dismissed. How do I find out the reason for dismissal? There is still a large amount owed. How long after dismissal am I allowed to put liens on his property and go after the child support and spousal support owed?
Hi Guest!

As the bankruptcy has been dismissed, you can place lien on his property immediately. You need to file a case in the court and get a judgment regarding the lien.
As far as the reason for dismissal is concerned, you need to contact the court or the bankruptcy attorney and get the correct information.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
