I am in bankruptcy my husband is not. we have a joint mortgage at BOA.
We have never been late never missed a payment in 20 years. we went to make a cash payment to the teller at BOA and it was refused. Called the Mortgage department and was told the tell can not take the paymen, cash is not excepted, a electronic payment is needed. our banks are frozen and we are useing cash til the 90 days is up on my Bankruptcy is over. Can the refuse american currency? How can I be assured if I open an account and transfer funds if it is going to the mortgage and not frozen in limbo.. How can I get this payment where it neds to be? they have told me fees will be added if payment is late.

Deposit the cash into a relatives' account. Then, have you relative electronically send the payment from his or her account.
pretty reasonable response; pretty reasonable way to handle it.
