hey guys.. my question is ..i have filed chap 13 on mar 09 then had a dismissal...then refiled in jul 09 and had another dismissal...filed again in dec 30 to stop the sale again on my house..the reason for the other 2 dismissals are first one i did it wrong second one i didnt go to the meeting ...how many times can i keep filing to stop the forclousre also my dad is on deed to can he file the chap 13 as well

courts can limit the frequency of filing bankruptcy. as far as i know, you can be barred from filing chapter 13, if the bankruptcy has been dismissed due to the fault on the part of debtors. you need to contact your bankruptcy attorney in order to know whether or not you will be able to file bankruptcy again. as far as your father is concerned, if his name is on the mortgage, then he can file.
