IS MY HUSBAND RESPONSIBLE?

Posted on: 29th May, 2009 04:52 am
Last january I filed chapter 7 bancrupty and it discharged last may. My husband also filed for his debt. He went to purchase a car and found one of my items was on him. He was an authorized user but not his card. This is discharged is he still responsible we are seperated and this was my bill and if he is can he file this off? He did his bk last january.
pets, if your husband was an authorized user only, then he has no responsibility for payment on that account. the only person responsible for payments was you, and inasmuch as the debt has been discharged through your bankruptcy, the collector has no rights to collect from anyone.

i said "the collector has no rights to collect from anyone." what i meant to say was "the creditor."
