i files chapter 13 because they were going to forclose on my house i had built. I had to go threw mediation because the house was built wrong, i won the law suit but the judge still let the morgage company forclose.
they offset the price of the house. i owed 46.000 and i filed that in bankruptcy court I only have 5 more months left will my morgage be paid in full. this included the arrearage i owed because we did not pay them until the suit was settled

Filing Chapter 13 bankruptcy does not mean that your mortgage has been paid off. The lender will give you a payment plan in order to clear off the mortgage dues. You will have to pay off the mortgage dues as per that plan within 3-5 years. Didn't your lender give you any such plan?

i think so but i filed the whole amout in my bankruptcy that i owed on the house and i think after i get out of bankruptcy in march it should be paid off it shows my plan of 50.000 and 45.000 of that was my house it shows my balance of 2,300 on the morgage and 2,100 left on the arrerage.
