if i have equity in my home how long in a chapt 13 can i try to refinance and do a buyout? i have heard 6 months

Hi rider,

You will have to wait for around 6 months in order refinance your mortgage after you're discharged of your bankruptcy filing. You should contact your lender and check out if he can help you get a refinance prior to that.
