How does a chapter 7 personal bankruptcy affect back taxes?

my wife and i have shut down our small business. the back taxes, including payroll and sales are being assessed to us personally. we are currently in home foreclosure and chapter 7 bankruptcy. we have no assets. will any of the back taxes be discharged?

Hi goregang,

You will be liable for the back taxes. The back taxes do not get discharged in the bankruptcy filing.
