My chapter 7 was discharged in June 2009, I cannot get any credit anywhere! I have my credit reports they all show it, please help! Where do I start?
sasha, with so little time having elapsed since the bankruptcy, you will surely have some trouble obtaining new credit. the bankruptcy is a stain, and creditors want to see that you've redeemed yourself by establishing new credit - and nobody wants to be the guinea pig.
what you may want to look into is a secured credit card - there are plenty of them available online, but i say avoid those because they'll rip you off. if you belong to a credit union, or are eligible to belong to one, you'll find that they'll often provide such a service (check first). also, some of the banks will provide secured cards that can allow you to reestablish a creditworthiness. you'll want to get a couple, frankly, and use them sparsely so as to create a new credit record that's spotless.
another alternative, of course, is finding someone who's willing to cosign for a loan for you - a personal loan, for example. then there are used car emporiums that may grant you a high interest loan for the purchase of a vehicle, needed or not, and this will also provide you an opportunity to restore your credit.
i'm sure there are other methods i've not highlighted, but these are reasonably simple and not devastatingly costly.

Start with a secure credit card, go down to your local banks and discuss with them.
i knew it was going to be a good idea!
