filing a chapter 7 but what about purchase money security interest in furniture and credit card, such as sears for tv etc. Apparently, they are PMSI as well. I doubt a reaff would accepted;however, one was never sent sooo after the BK discharge can they sue me and repo with any additional costs? without the reaff I am afraid even if could make a paymet good money after bad or should I try to get current asap? or would the repo anyway?
As far as I know, if your debts have been discharged, then the lender will not be able to come after you. I would suggest you to have a discussion with your bankruptcy attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will be able to let you know whether or not the lender will come after you for the payments. It is always better to get current with your payments asap.
