Me and my husband do our taxes together. I will be filling bankruptcy on my own will they take my tax return even if he is not filling bankruptcy?
as far as i know, it is your tax returns which can be taken away by the bankruptcy trustee in order to repay your creditors. as your husband is not filing bankruptcy, his tax returns will not be used to pay off your creditors.
