I filled a bk and on my second and third mortgage was charged off what does this mean.
If it is charged off the lender did nto bother to collect the dues from you. But they may send it to collection agency and they will come after you for that money
mortgage provider will not worry about it. furthermore, you can negotiate with collection agency
Hi dskoncz,
"I filled a bk and on my second and third mortgage was charged off what does this mean"
Do you mean your second and third loans were discharged through bankruptcy? In case, the loans have been discharged through bankruptcy, you no longer owe the debts. You are free from the liability of the second and third mortgages. The lenders will not be able to come after you or sue you to recover the loan balance.
Thanks,
Jerry
