During my 341 meeting, the trustee said I did not list my "alimony or child support" on my schedules...I didn't list because it's not court-ordered. Where should I list this $1,200 per month? Does this go on Schedule E (creditors holding unsecured priority claims) - check 'domestic support obligations' and then list out? There is no account number or amount of claim...it's just ongoing payments until my kids turn 21. How do I represent this amount? Please help.
Though it is not court ordered, you should have still reported the child support when you filed bankruptcy. Now that you want to include it in your bankruptcy filing, you should contact your bankruptcy attorney who will help you in including it in your bankruptcy filing.
Hi Viaann,
I agree with what Niicss has said. It is your bankruptcy attorney who will help you in correcting your bankruptcy filing and including the child support into it.
Thanks
