our divorce got completed in 2010. i was instructed to pay these credit cards and ex wife was instructed to pay the others. the decree did not mention any hold harmless clause. now, i have become disabled and have no job. i’m now thinking of filing bankruptcy. if i file bankruptcy, will the court deny me a discharge on those credit card debts?
Hi Keith,
If you file bankruptcy and get it successfully discharged, then you won't be liable for paying the credit card debts that you have been asked to as a part of your bankruptcy discharge.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Keith!
Welcome to forums!
I agree with Jerry. If your bankruptcy filing gets discharged successfully, then your credit card company won't be able to come after you to collect the dues.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
