Being recently divorced was left with 65000.00 in credit card debt ,cant make the payments thinking about bankruptcy any replys
You can file bankruptcy and get your credit card debts discharged. However, it will leave a negative mark on your credit report. It'll remain on your credit report for 10 years and will reduce your score by 200 points. You should first try and negotiate with your creditor. Check out if he can help you with a payment plan so that you're able to pay off the dues.
