Hi there… I filed bankruptcy and keep hearing that I have been discharged from my bankruptcy filing. What does that actually mean?
A bankruptcy discharge means that the debtor is released from personal liability for his/her debts. In other words, the debtor is no longer legally liable to pay any debts that are discharged.
