i have been discharged through chapter 7 and the house was included.the mortagage company sent us a forclosure notice for july the 7th.I found out that the deed still in my name .I AM STILL RECEIVING BILLS FROM THE hoa.HOW was that possible?

If you haven't surrendered the property to the lender, then the property deed will have your name on it and the HOA will send you the bills regarding the property. Once you surrender the property to the lender and he sells it off at a foreclosure auction, you would be able to remove your name from the property title.
