Hello there…my husband filed bankruptcy in the UK in 2010 while he was still single. Since then he has moved here and we've gotten married. Does he need to disclose that on a mortgage or any other credit application?
Hi Fanny,
I personally feel that it will be a good option to disclose the fact that your husband did file bankruptcy in UK in 2010. It is better not to supress any facts from the lender.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Fanny!
Welcome to forums!
Yes, you shouldn't hide facts from your bankruptcy trustee or the court. It is better to disclose the correct facts to them so that later on your bankruptcy filing doesn't get dismissed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
