I recently sent (via us postal) out some documents to the trustee before the deadline. Three weeks later the documents came back in the mail - for unsufficant postal funds. Can my case be dismissed being that it is past the deadline?
I'd have to believe that they'll find fault with your system of mailing the documents. However, there's only one way to find out - contact the trustee and explain your situation and see if you can't get the benefit of another chance.
Welcome Guest,
If the documents have not reached the trustee on time, then he won't be able to submit the documents in the court. If proper documents are not submitted on time, then your bankruptcy filing can get dismissed.

I recently went into PACER and read on the a docket from my trustee about the Creditor's meeting. At time of the meeting the trustee requested some documents to be sent to him. In the docket He requested that he be dischanged from my case. The documents were sent to him but came back to me. And it's past the deadline. The case has not be dismissed, still awaiting dischange. What am I suppose to do now?
Hi Krissy,
You should contact your bankruptcy attorney and he will be able to guide you better in this matter. As far as I can understand, you need to wait till the bankruptcy court takes any decision.
Take care.
