can chapter 7 get a mortgage loan earlier than 2 years?

discharged from chapter7 in Febuary,2010 have $10000 down...can I get a mortgage loan? don't want to keep paying $1000 for rent.

Though you've a down payment, you won't be able to get a mortgage immediately after a Chapter 7 discharge. You will have to wait for 2-4 years after a bankruptcy filing in order to get a mortgage to buy a new property.
