Filing Chapter 7

Posted on: 23rd Aug, 2012 02:21 am
I'm single, 27 and have no assets in my name. I have graduated and will start making money soon, I live with my parents. Earlier I had few credit cards and racked up about 40,000 dollars in credit card debit, with over 9-11 accounts, I lost count. No I'm receiving judgment and lawsuit calls. I am thinking of filing Chapter 7. Will it be good option?
hi racker,

filing chapter 7 bankruptcy should be last option that you should look out for. you should contact your creditors and try to set up payment plans and out of court settlement with them. this will help you in resolving the matter. if this is of no help, then you can consider filing chapter 7 bankruptcy.

thanks
